After 10 years as a market farm, Gravity Hill is taking the next step in building community ... hosting education and community-based organizations at the farm for learning opportunities and retreats in our new facility, The Barn at Gravity Hill.
Roots to River Organic Farm is now leasing our market space and growing fields and will be selling their organic produce every weekend at Gravity Hill. The farm's owner, Malaika Spencer, is one of the many young farmers who apprenticed at Gravity Hill over the years.
The Farm Cooking School, run by Ian Knaur and Shelley Wiseman, will be at weekend markets selling prepared food and teaching cooking classes — on everything from butchery to baking, cheese making and preserving and everything in between — throughout the week.
From Lambertville, head south on Route 29 about 3 miles. Turn left onto Pleasant Valley Road. The farm is about 1.2 miles up, on your right.
From Pennington, turn left off Route 31 onto Pennington Harbourton Road. Continue as it turns into Pleasant Valley Road. The farm is about 5 1/2 miles up, on your left after you pass Valley Road.
From Trenton, head north on Route 29 about 11 miles. Turn right onto Pleasant Valley Road. The farm is about 1.2 miles up, on your right.
